When in doubt, a monochromatic outfit is the way to go! I consider wearing one color to be a BOLD choice. I love wearing this style trend if I have the right pieces. You may think that a monochromatic outfit takes less energy, however, it can be tricky especially if you venture into bright colors.
To master the look, try to incorporate different textures along with accessories. I layered a silk blouse with tweed pants. You can also incorporate multiple shades in the same color family to keep it interesting. This look has been a signature for many stylish women for many years and it is so easy to see why. A monochromatic outfit always looks effortless and refined.
I would often do the monochromatic look with all black because it’s the easiest of the monochrome family to pull off. However, those days are long gone! I am now going for the bright and bold hues! When it comes to simplified style, there is nothing more classy than a monochromatic look.
